Overview
In order to train human resources for Society 5.0, the University of Tsukuba has established a new compulsory subject for all students, allowing them to acquire the fundamentals of mathematics and data science.
Curriculum
All first-year students take the subject Mathematics and Data Science in Japanese and English.
e-Learning
For first year students encountering data science for the very first time, videos introducing examples of data science in a variety of academic disciplines are available as OpenCourseWare (OCW).
